The Annual Symphony Ball is the symphony's largest fundraising event. During any given year, the evening of the gala attracts over 350 guests who gather to raise funds in order to increase our community footprint and celebrate the Symphony Association's accomplishments. This year we are celebrating our success with a live event and through virtual technology with an online auction. Proceeds from the Ball support our education and community engagement programs which include the Schadt String Competition and Scholarships, and the Young Musician String Festival. It also consists of the highly successful El Sistema Lehigh Valley program. For over 10 years, El Sistema has been providing underserved and special needs youth with an opportunity to develop important life skills. Students participate in high quality music instruction, large ensemble experiences, and academic tutoring, all within a safe and nurturing environment and all at no cost to the students. This is what makes El Sistema Lehigh Valley a unique & special program in our community.

The mission of the Allentown Symphony Association is to provide a first-class symphony orchestra and Hall, quality performing arts, and cultural education in partnership with the community.
